Meet Stephanie Kelley - Owner

Combining skills acquired owning an Antiques and Home Accessory Business for many years with her love for Interior Design, Stephanie was inspired to start Refined Design LLC in 2005.

She has always been passionate about Interior Decorating and comes from an artistic family background. She believes that any home can be beautiful and loves helping her clients discover how best to achieve just that. It is important to her to listen carefully to her client's wants and needs, after all, it is their home. She then uses her knowledge and design sensibilities to achieve a harmonious and well designed home that suite the needs of her clients.

She is a native Washingtonian and lives with her husband and son (and dog) in a home she designed and she and her husband built.

Stephanie Kelley is certified as a Redesigner and Real Estate Stager by I.R.I.S - Interior Redesign Industry Specialists, of which she is also a member.  She is also a member of the local chapter - IRIS - National Capital Area Chapter and serves as membership chairman.   She is certified as a Benjamin Moore Paint/Color consultant and has completed "Color with no Regrets" - a comprehensive color course taught by the Decorating and Staging Academy.

She majored in Interior Design in College.
